A friend of mine asked me a question about the best way to follow up after a face to face interview. This is a really good question and like I figured, there were a lot of answers.
A few said "just email", while others pointed out that a handwritten note really made you stand out.
Another third of the group said to do both, since email has an immediate effect and can be followed up later with the snail mail version.

I wish there was one right answer to satisfy every situation. Sometimes it may depend on what information you have (company address vs email).
If nothing else, I have definitely learned the more work you put into something, the more of a return you'll get out of it.
