Great opportunity to work with children! Little Fishes Swim School is looking for enthusiastic swim instructors to teach learn-to-swim lessons to infants, toddlers, and children. Prior teaching/coaching experience is recommended, but not required. Candidates must be good with kids and be able to swim; swimming techniques can be taught and/or refined during training. We pride ourselves on teaching proper swimming techniques, while having fun and maintaining a positive attitude. Our staff enjoys a work environment focused on doing “whatever it takes” to provide our students and their families with a fun, positive, life-long learning experience. Every member of our team plays a crucial role in the success of our students and our staff. As a part of the LFSS team, respect is earned and egos are checked at the door. All new team members must complete our training program, regardless of prior experience. About LFSS: Little Fishes Swim School provides personalized swim instruction in an environment where children can be comfortable and thrive. Our class sizes are small and are taught year-round in warm, salt water pools. Qualifications: Must love working with children Prior experience working with children Able to swim; though competitive swimming experience is not required Reliability is expected and initiative is encouraged Ability to be a “team player” and possess energy and enthusiasm Knowledge of, and the ability to demonstrate, basic swim skills Possess a professional and positive attitude at all times Ability to positively interact with the general public Must be safety-conscious Able to think “on your feet” Available evenings and/or weekends Reliable transportation Pass a standard background check Minimum age - 18 PLEASE NOTE If your resume does not list your swimming, child care, teaching, and/or coaching experience, please include it in your cover letter or objective statement.
